Green is our colour
We believe that sustainability should be an integral part of the cosmetic industry (as a matter of fact, any industry!). Therefore, we would like to offer you this very range of clean, environmentally friendly products with no compromise on the effectiveness and quality.
BIOBASED
Biobased products refer to products that consist of substances derived from living (or once-living) matter and are carbon-containing substances. Simply speaking, they come form plants and other living creatures like bacteria. Because of their origin, they have an ability to break down naturally by the organisms in an ecosystem. Our ingredients are of natural origin and have a high biodegradability rate, which means they don’t stay long in the environment and get decomposed.
WASTE & BYPRODUCTS
Natural resources are precious and must be used as responsible as possible. That is why we aim to valorize ingredients coming from waste and byproducts. Our creams are full of floral hydrosols, byproducts of the essential oils distillation process, often discarded as waste. Some of the functional ingredients we use are produced from olive, soy, hemp, and cocoa processing wastes. They offer exceptional skin benefits, protect from free radicals damage, support skin barrier recovery, and microbiome diversity.
HIGH % NATURAL
Our formulations contain a high level of natural ingredients, which were produced in respect to the environment and its biodiversity and by applying green chemistry principles and physical processing (like distillation, pressing, infusing, etc.). Our products are rich in aromatherapeutic plant waters as well as plant oils such as jojoba, hemp, and squalane.
WATER FOOTPRINT
Water consumption is among the key environmental concerns at the moment, which is why we focus on reducing its footprint. Our skincare range is 100% based on floral hydrosols, with no distilled water added during the manufacturing process (they appear first on the INCI list). The surfactants we use in cleansers are not only gentle to your skin but also the environment. They require up to 40% less water to rinse off compared to SLES cleansers, and by favoring biodegradable grades, we avoid water contamination.
RECYCLABLE
Each packaging material has its pros and cons. Most plastic packaging doesn’t make it through recycling facilities because of color, small size, or material type. We have chosen to use glass components for our products as they can be recycled infinitely and the recyclability rate is much higher than plastic. In Europe, glass recycling averages 76% compared to 41% for plastic. It also keeps the product fresh for longer. There is no leaching and no chemical interactions with glass packaging and the final product. That helps the formula inside maintain its efficacy, scent, and stability for longer.
